Gold Tipped Succulents

Sunday, August 14, 2016

Succulents are one trend I'm very fond of!
But unfortunately, succulents just don't do well under my care.

Back in June,
I found fauxs at Dollar Tree... perfect for a succulent challenged gal!

I used them for a couple of projects, which can be seen at the end of the post.

And then, I was in DT last week, and had yet another brain storm...

...give them a modern twist, white with gold tips.

Grabbed a can of white spray paint from my stash and headed outside to spray them.

After they were painted and dry, gold tips were added.

With the neutral white and gold color scheme,
the succulents could be used most anywhere.

I considered using them in my master bath,
but they looked right pretty sitting in my kitchen windowsill.

Wouldn't they make great {and thrifty} name card holders
for a dinner party or wedding!

Instead of white, they could be spray painted mint, navy blue,
soft pink, fuchsia, or whatever color desired, and tipped with gold,
 to fit any party theme.

And considering even more possibilities for these pint-sized painted succulents,
fall is only 40 days away!

They would be perfect for autumn vignettes!

It's amazing how a little paint can give most anything versatility!

Thanks for visiting! :)
