Not So Spooky Pumpkin for Halloween - HandPainted Lilly P. Inspired

Monday, October 31, 2016

Happy Halloween Y'all!
For many of us, tonight our streets will be a blur of little goblins, ghosts, witches,
princesses, and others, racing between homes collecting candy.

In our house, we've long outgrown trick or treating,
but my girl, Ashley still loves to decorate a pumpkin or two each year.
As a child, she entered and won a local pumpkin decorating contest
at the county fair a couple of years in a row.

Lilly Pulitzer was her inspiration for a painted pumpkin last year...

...and that inspiration carried on to this year,
the Lilly Pulitzer First Impression print.

Getting started with a base color...

A not so spooky pumpkin for Halloween...

Hope you all have a great evening,
with lots of treats... no tricks!  :)
