A Reindeer Project & Christmas in The Living Room

Thursday, December 3, 2015

Only 22 more days until Christmas, sure is approaching quickly it seems!

Last season, I had taken a break from blogging,
and as a result, had only snapped a few pictures of my Christmas decor.
Panic set in, as I tried frantically to remember "what went where."
A blessing in disguise,  ...still mostly using what I had,
I was forced to create fresh, new festive vignettes.

A few inexpensive projects were thrown into the mix,
like the reindeer hanging, below.

A friend with a CNC Machine, cut the deer from wood.
Painted the cut-out with two different shades of chalk paint, stapled twine to the back
for hanging, and added a glitter nose and little bit of greenery.

Looks pretty cute, hanging on the TV Armoire door.

Monday, I shared another project,
the lantern decked out for the Holidays...

...that sits atop the TV Armoire.

The mantel was one of the few spots that didn't receive a new look.
I remembered, it worked!  :)

The JOY Banner was a project from last year.

The coffee table...

Funny story about the tray, that serves as the coffee table vignette base.
Ashley and I were in Big Lots on Black Friday, and I saw the same tray.
I suddenly remembered I had one, bought the previous year.
Had to go back to my storage, and plunder 'til I found it.
...was a happy moment when I uncovered it!  :)

This little angel is just the cutest, to me.

And the sweet drummer boy is a favorite, too!

Thanks for stopping in for a visit!
Hope your Christmas Season is off to a merry and bright start!
~Rhonda
