Do your kids still believe Santa comes down the Chimney???
Mine are now a little too old. But it hasn't been all that long ago, they looked beneath the mantel, wondering in childlike innocence, just how the fat bearded man would make it down to deliver presents on Christmas night.
Our fireplace is decorated in shimmery green and silver,
should he make a showing none the less!
Ashley placed her Senior Portrait on the mantel last year,
and I don't have the heart to move it.
Each season I decorate around it!
Just maybe she'll be first on Santa's List!
And maybe Santa will sit a spell and relax in our family room, before hitting the neighbors house,
if he should come, that is!
One room decorated and ready for Christmas --- CHECK!

ReplyDeleteThat's such a great color scheme - love the mercury glass candle holders. I plan on buying some pretties to store away for next year at the sales this year....candle holders and faux greenery will be high on the list!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful choice of color to use! Just love how everything is so fresh and elegant. Your room is very welcoming... Santa is sure to sneak in and sit a spell.
