Bedrock Trunk or Treat 2011

Monday, October 31, 2011

Sunday Evening Trunk or Treat was held at our Church.
Our trunk was decorated in Bedrock fashion, with my daughter, Ashley passing the candy dressed as Wilma.

The Trunk...

The parking lot of the church was lined with vehicles, most decorated for the occasion.

Highlights, below...

Great collection of Halloween pieces!

Other side of the trunk...

Cute candy buckets...

Scarecrows chillin'!

A ghoulish skeleton...

Cute glittery Pumpkin Hanging...

Our Youth Pastor, Mike, a die-hard Carolina Fan!

And back to our trunk...
Ashley and "her friend," Wesley wait for the trunk or treaters to arrive.

I was wondering how long it would be, before our Fred Mobile was taken for a ride!
The car stayed intact until the end of the event, when a precious little chicken threw out Fred and Dino, and jumped in!

The evening ended as a local pilot whizzed right over the parking lot.

Here it is the morning after, still have to clean out the Suburban and put everything from our trunk away --- and yet I sit, pondering --- what will our theme next year be??? :)

  4. I can't believe how cute Ashley looks as Wilma! You win the prize for sure for creativity! Nicholas used to have a Little Tikes car like that and it completely wore out through the years. Each of the kids had their own cars and you know me with toys, I saved them and now the grandbabies get to enjoy them! I love how even Fred and the others were included in your decor. I learn so much from you about spray paint. I had no idea you could spray paint a car! What are you going to do with the car now? Maybe it can be incorporated and redone for next year!

  7. This is so cute! Loved your daughter's costume. I think this is a good idea, too, for Christians. Keeps the kids out of the creepy stuff that happens during this holiday.

  8. Your daughter looked ADORABLE and did such a great job with the costume. I am thinking she takes after her Mom. Looks like it was a lot of fun! I love how the little chick hopped in the car at the end of the night. :) Oh... and your daughter's "friend"... I like his name. :)
