Crepe Myrtles are a favorite of southern summers,
with their explosions of spectacular, beautiful blooms.
Their flowers appearing like ruffled clusters of brilliant color.
I decided to play around with the beauties, showcasing them in 5 displays.
Asparagus fern served as a great filler to accompany the blooms.
Best of all, the arrangements were created with vessels on hand,
and the flowers of course, were free! :)
1 - Bird Pitcher
2 - Waterford Crystal Vase
3 - Fenton Hobnail White Milk Glass & Rustic Antler
4 - Antique RS Prussia Covered Dish
5 - Vintage Posy Holder
Thanks for visiting!
Wishing you a blessed week!
Stay cool! :)

Oh, gosh, Rhonda, these are simply beautiful! With the perfect vintage finds, you've really made each and every one look different with use of the same flower and filler. Great job! Visiting (1st time) from BNOTP, and I knew I'd like your blog when I read your tagline on loving thrifty finds. :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Everytime I touch ours, tons of blooms drop off so I decided best for me to leave them on the tree to admire. Your various holders are so pretty. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda! Sp glad I read your blog post. We have crepe myrtles blooming everywhere and I have never thought to use them as a cut flower. What was I thinking? Once the sun comes up, I am headed outside to get a few clippings. We have several colors blooming now. Can't wait to see how they hold up!
