I've been searching for a tray to go in the center of my kitchen table for years!
One that I could leave on the table, and not have to move for every meal.
And just putting an arrangement in the middle with nothing
underneath looked naked and much too bare!
I felt a little like Goldilocks...
one would be too big,
one would be too small,
one would be too wide,
one would be too round,
one, the color would be all wrong,
...you get the picture, right?
And then, I found it...
"ahhhh, this tray was just right!"
The pretty metal footed tray, measuring 9 1/2" X 15",
bought at Kirklands worked perfect!
And I love the bird accents and color!
{White and red were also available.}
Along with the vase of flowers,
a vintage set of silverplated salt and pepper shakers fits well!
{A gift from my daughter!}
I even have room to spare,
to add seasonal fruits, if I like, such as the sweet blueberries!
And a little off the subject,
I was nibbling on Cabelas' Lemon Fudge,
while doing this post...
and might I add, it's heavenly!
Not too tart, not too sweet... just right!
The search was long for the perfect tray for the table.
...about 11 years!
So glad to finally find the right one!
You still have a few days to register for the give-away
I'm hosting from my last post, a personalized cute cow cup.
Just hop over and leave a comment {here}.
Good luck! :)
Thanks for visiting,
...& Happy First Day of Summer!

I also feel the need to have a tray of some sort, or even a stack of books, to anchor an arrangement. Your tray choice is perfect - color, size, everything!

ReplyDeleteOh Rhonda, I love that tray--the bird handles are divine! I usually avoid Kirklands, because of the strong fragrance overload, but I may have to hold my breath and dash in, lol. Thanks for sharing @Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteWhen you find the right thing, you just know it! The tray is so pretty, especially with the pretty flowers and s & p shakers!
