My crafty daughter has been busy again...
If she's at home,
you can best bet you'll find her with a paint brush in hand,
or working on some crafty, creative project.
...no clue where she gets that from! ha :)
Ashley also adores anything Lilly P.
Her latest project producing hand-painted Lilly inspired shoes
{inspiration print below}
for the patriotic holidays coming up this Summer... starting with Memorial Day.
The pair of white, inexpensive canvas shoes were found at Wal-mart.
For paints, she used small bottles of acrylics, found in the craft department.
Looking pretty cute, huh?
The shot, below, I borrowed from her Instagram post for her etsy shop,
The Southern Brunette1.
She also made the monogram decal and necklace, which are available in her shop.
Maybe I can talk her into making a pair for her momma,
...we'll be twinning at the upcoming celebrations!
My heart did a little flip when I looked out of the window yesterday,
and noticed the gardenia bushes overflowing with beautiful white blooms!
The pure white, heavenly fragrant flowers are perfect for
a Memorial Day arrangement, don't you think?
The gardenias filled my home with a sweet, fresh aroma,
...and I am loving it!
Hope you all have a wonderful, and safe, Memorial Day!

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of the gardenia. They don't grow well here...something about the acidity of the soil doesn't work. :)
