Fall is off to a drizzling, wet start in our part of the country.
Faced with having to spend a weekend in the house,
Mr. Ramblings spontaneously proposed that we load up with another couple,
and head to Charlotte, NC, for a few days over this past weekend.
I was all too eager to ditch my plans to organize my closet!
I'm flexible that way! ;)
One of my favorite junkin' malls is The Depot at Gibson Mill, in Concord.
The Depot is located 20 miles north of Charlotte.
If I'm traveling anywhere close, I can't miss a visit, to walk the aisles
of 88,000 square feet filled with unique, beautimous junk!

As always, it was a pleasure to browse through the 600+ booths.
Especially the ones in which the vendors had created creative,
(and some fun, quirky), displays with goods to offer for Fall and Halloween.
I don't typically decorate for Halloween,
but I could appreciate the whimsy of the vignettes created.
The Depot was crowded Saturday,
but I did manage to take a few pictures to share...
If you're still decorating for fall, or tweaking as I am,
maybe these will offer a little inspiration!

Cute lighted cotton garland...
I picked up a bundle of the wheat from this booth,
just have to figure where to use it.
Sweet sweater pumpkins...
The next three pictures are just random shots I wanted to save for one reason and another.
Hopefully of future projects...
Thanks for stopping by, and joining me on a tour of The Depot!
Hope your week is off to a great start! :)

Oh, so many gorgeous things and such inspiration! I would have returned without the hubster, as some treasures would have been sitting in his place...LOL Yep, much better than organizing a closet. You've got all winter for that cr...stuff! ;-) Hugs!!

I do not really decorate for Halloween either, but I love what you have shown from the Depot. The decorating inspires me for fall and vintage things. It reminds me a bit of the "Meet Me In St. Louise" fall decor. Kathi
