Not so scary Spiders

Wednesday, October 17, 2012

Did you know...

There are around 40,000 different species of spiders.

A "daddy-long-legs"
isn't really a spider.

Some spiders can live up to 30 years.

Spiders cannot die of natural causes.

Are present on an American Dollar Bill!

Hidden in the front upper right hand corner.

Spiders are found on every continent,
...except Antarctica.

While Spiders are usually known for their webs,
they can also weave a wind-sailing "parachute,"
capable of taking them high above the world below.

And abandoned spider webs are called cobwebs,
which are usually pretty spooky.

But not these super cute glittered spiders!
Not so scary at all, huh?!?

  1. Rhonda, these are so cute! You are really in Halloween mode over here! I just posted your wonderful gift a few minutes ago. I hope to get a tablescape done with it next week!

  2. Love, love those buckets...yes, the spiders do not look so creepy when you "bling" them up!!...So very cute!!

  3. I am not really a fan of spiders....but yours are so cute :). I think a little glitter makes everything better!

Have a great day rock star!

  4. I think I need to move to Antartica bz I hate spiders! Now that the girls are here I notice an increase in them. I think it's because they leave the doors open a crack and the spiders want to come in where it's warm! Even fake ones creep me out. Not an animal person and that definitely includes the scary ones but your's are cute!

  5. Everything you do is SO cute. You can even make me like a spider!

  6. I much prefer your kind of spiders! So cute!

  7. Rhonda, those buckets are just too cute! You did a great job! Love the spider info, too. Thanks for sharing! Blessings from Bama!

  8. I love your spiders waaay better than the real ones. EEEK!! IT's amazing what some ribbon and a little bling will do!

  9. These are so cute. Your blog looks really good. Did you change template? I would like to get my things on one side, too and not sure how to do it...I like the clean look.
