O' Waterford...

Saturday, June 9, 2012

"How do I love thee,"

"Let me count the ways..."

I love thee for the simple, elegant beauty you add to my home,

And that you are timeless, in which one can never grow tired of your charm,

And that your legacy lives on, passed for generations,
such as the pieces I hold, found at an estate sale....

"How do I love thee....
...For the ends of being and ideal grace."

Excerpts in quotations taken from poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
1806-1861

{Waterford Pieces: the Crystal Vase and the Orb}
{Estate Sale Finds: $25 each}

  2. I love crystal. Nothing compares. They're truly beautiful pieces. You make me want to dust mine off and put them out for display....hmmmm, maybe when the grandbabies are a little bigger. For now they'll stay in the china cabinet for safe-keeping.
