Still trying to decide if I really like the "greenish-blue pumpkins."
'Bout come to the conclusion -- they're so ugly they're cute! ;)

than be crowded on a velvet cushion."

  1. I adore the big chubby green pumpkins, not the price is what I do not like. You kitchen basket of pumpkins is beautiful. Backdoor friends are best I agree. I am a Southern gal too btw. Thanks bunches for visiting me. hugs♥Olive

  2. First the milk glass and now the quote reminding me of my mother! My mom would always say, "it's so ugly it's cute!" I find myself saying and thinking that sometimes too!

I never tire of looking at your beautiful home. You have a way of putting things together that's very appealing to the eye. I haven't even done anything with decorating for fall bz it's been too darn busy around here and even if I did the grandbabies wouldn't let it last. Funny, but my daycare kids knew they couldn't go in the front room and they didn't so I could decorate to my heart's content but my grandbabies rule the roost around here. It's not that they destroy things but they're very curious and have to handle everything. Guess decorating goes on hold until another year, or until Nicholas and Jill have a baby but they tell me that's still several years away, which is okay by me.

Oh, and as for your comment on my complete house. We pretty much had it finished 12 years ago but we never put up the closet doors in either room, I don't know why, I guess it wasn't a high priority. The problem now is that we need new flooring and some updating here and there so I guess it's never ending, lol! I hope your plans work out for your "forever house" and that the economy starts cooperating for both of us bz we're stuck here until it does!

  3. You got me thinking. The doctor's name is Brent and my brother-in-law is Bob! Maybe twins separated at birth since they both start with "B!" Have a great weekend!

  5. Things are really looking festive around your home. I love how you lined your basket with burlap and then filled it with gourds for a centerpiece.

    Have a great weekend!
