The "Happy" Arrangement

Saturday, June 16, 2012

I have a fondness for tulips,
their delicate features and simple elegance amazes me.

A friend of mine has made me pinkie swear that when she passes,
which I hope we are both very old and very gray by then...
that no matter the time of year,
her funeral spray will be of tulips alone!
Sounds kind of morbid, huh?
Not really, she just adores and loves them that much,
...and you have to make plans at some point! ha!

My mother-in-law created the arrangement of tulips, below,
 for her door this spring....

She's just talented that way! :)

The metal basket for the arrangement was found at Home Goods
several years ago, and is hanging on the door by a large suction cup.

I took the pictures with my cell phone, which doesn't capture it's true beauty!

If ever there was a "Happy" Arrangement,
I'm certain this would be it!

I'd like to wish my dad a Happy Father's Day!
I'm so very thankful to still have my dad around!
So many of my friends are not as fortunate,
having lost their's in the last few years!

Love you, Dad ....Scoot :)
