Don't you just love a party???
Last night I hosted a group of about 15 ladies in my home,
for our WMU Valentines Circle Meeting.
Below, are random shots of the party food ....
The "Starlight" Lemon Shooters were easy and quite tasty.
I'll share that recipe soon!
The Sand Tarts below, have seriously jeopardized sabotaged my fledgling diet!
But I have enjoyed them!
They were a recipe of my Mom's, which I'll soon share, too.
The Candlewick dessert dishes were a yard sale find.
About 20 pieces, different sizes, for $7.00.
My mother-in-law had given me a set of 6, and I was uber-excited to find mates!
Cheese Station
And a Coffee/Hot Chocolate Bar

I am whining...do you hear me? Not because of the giveaway...but I wish I had been at the party. You set it up so pretty...and the food looks wonderful! I will have to tell Ro - a hint of home to check out your candlewick...she collects it also!
ReplyDeleteCandlewick dishes are my favorite! Your spread looks gorgeous, and I would love to see that Sand Tart recipe soon!
ReplyDeleteRhonda, you're celebration looked so inviting! All the food and drinks look so delicious! And the tablescape with the pretty roses and dishes, wow! Why didn't you invite us? Just kidding! Blessings from Bama!
ReplyDeleteRhonda, what a gorgeous spread!! Everything looks absolutely wonderful. I am sure you and your guests had an awesome time!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, is a "big ole southern wedding shower" like this party that you just posted here? It sounds like fun. You certainly do know how to throw a party. Kaje' is really into 1920s and vintage and so we were thinking that her shower should have a touch of that, I have no idea how but we'll think of something! Your table settings always are done with such grace and style and that's what I love about looking at them.
ReplyDeleteIf I ever get down south you can bet you'll be my tour guide!! I honestly feel like we already know each other. :) Now if I can just find a way to afford that Hawaii trip. We both know I'd have a great tour guide there and not just for the touristy things. Some day....some day!
