Never Too Old To Learn

Wednesday, January 4, 2012

I made a blog header!
On Picnik myself!

I, the one who is SO very computer illiterate challenged
actually made the header AND uploaded that baby to my blog.

For me, that is huge, I'm telling you! ha!

Those of you who are so very gifted and talented with technology and blogging,
please forgive me if my excitement seems a little silly!
Just give me a few minutes to bask in my success!  {smiles}

I guess you are never too old to learn!

  1. That is AWESOME!!!!! I am SO PROUD of you!!!!!! :)

  2. Good for you...I need to try sometime soon!!

  3. Your header looks awesome! What's picnik? That tells you how challenged I am. I want to do this to my blog too! If you get a chance, let us know how to do it. Did you use your own photos? They look professional!

  4. Your header is very nicely done and you should be proud! Have a great day.

  5. Rhonda:

Looks great! I am still new at Piknik, but I am learning slowly.

For 2012 this is something that I want to do for my blog and get better at photography! No, you are never to old to learn, I agree!

  6. Love it! You're miles ahead of me, I don't know how to do it and think of doing it from time to time but just haven't done it. Good for you for giving it a shot and doing so great at it too!

  7. Awesome! You sound like me. My 16 year old daughter is my blog designer. I want and need to learn how to do this stuff by myself!
I am totally inspired by you :)

  8. Congratulations! It looks great!

  9. VERY proud of you. LOVE the new header. You did good, girlfriend! :)

  10. Awesome job - I love the pics that you chose too! I'm totally on the same page as you when it comes to being computer illiterate! I've learned more in these last few months of blogging than I ever thought I would. No telling how many new wrinkles are in my old brain now - lol!

  11. Well done! Isn't it amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it? I love Picnik. It's very user friendly. Photoshop on the other had is really tricky.

  12. I hear you! It is not always easy, even when you think you know your way round. I am forever making mistakes. But good for you, keep at it! Thanks for sharing. I will follow on my way out and hope you can find the time to come visit me and do the same. I look forward to engaging throughout twenty twelve with you. Cheers SpecialK XoXo

  13. I recently did the same thing, and was thrilled with myself, also. Those of us who didn't grow up with computers have had a huge learning curve!!! Congrats on your success. Sally
