"Ah, Summer, what power you have to make us suffer and like it." -- Russel Baker
..."suffer," at least in terms of the extreme high temps and humidity! :)
But what better way to beat the heat, than with a little tubing and wakeboarding with the kids on the lake!
A friend, Chase, suiting up with his board and life vest.
Kevin and the kids were out on the lake at 6:45 Thursday morning, before the heat became unbearable. I joined them shortly after. When the boat is not moving, it gets warm real quick!
...Kid down, again... (below) ;)
Dalton patiently "instructing" David.
...needs a little more practice! :)
Ash and David take a break from wakeboarding for tubing....
....Just sayin'! :)
Looks like an absolutely wonderful way to spend the summer,Rhonda!

It looks like everyone was having a GREAT time. I am scared of being over my head in the water and I don't swim but I always envy those who enjoy it so much.
ReplyDeletetake care,
Dawn
This looks like a blast, Rhonda!
ReplyDeleteI loved water skiing when I was their age. Wakeboarding looks a little harder!
