Inspiration at The Country Living Magazine Show '11

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

After missing the First Annual Country Living Show last year,
hosted by the Country Living Magazine, in Stone Mountain Park, GA,
I vowed to be there this year!

My mom and I have been planning this trip for some time,
and we were not disappointed!
It was w.o.n.d.e.r.f.u.l!

The weather was gorgeous,
and the opulent inspiration provided by the show, captivating and rich!

Our only complaint, while Stone Mountain Park is a beautiful place,
the parking and signage for the show was somewhat confusing, and the park employees we asked for assistance seemed annoyed and were not much help.

Our excitement was not diminished, though. :)

In the Country Living Magazine Store, a few festive settings were displayed.

Over 200 vendors set up enticing booths with amazing wares;
one-of-a kind crafts, antiques, and cool junque!
Wish that I could have gotten more pictures, but the crowd was pretty thick at times!
Here are a few to share.

Love the picture frames adorned with vintage pins below...

Creativity was abundant everywhere!

I'm certain my children would appreciate the sign below! :)

"Sassy Trash," now that is an intriguing name.
~ Love it! ~
Actually bought a wire basket from them!

Already looking forward to next year's show!
~ Only 361 days away ~

Just maybe I'll see some of you there!

  1. Hi....thanks for stopping by my blog....The fair was wonderful for inspiration....I am cheap by nature so I took alot of pictures and hope to reproduce alot of what I saw....isn't that awful...I did buy a great French dish towel for all of $5.00 and I promptly came home and made a great pillow for my couch with it....pictures on blog to follow in my next post....I still am crazy over the cost of the food and how bad it was....Next year I plan on going on SUnday so maybe the people will want to bargain a bit and I will bring a blanket to sit on the ground and pack a nice picnic lunch....Maybe if you come back down we can meet!!....I love meeting other bloggers...
